One-to-One Counselling

Mountain Landscape

A space for you...

Struggles and difficulties can happen throughout our lives.  During these times you may find counselling helpful.  I work with people with many areas of difficulty.

I also offer help to those who feel stuck in behaviour patterns that seem to defeat them. They may have tried other ways of resolving these without success.  I can help in identifying these behaviours, determining their 'roots', and helping to deal with them.

This often brings people to a place where they can relate more freely to family, friends and those around them without the 'old, repeated' behaviour patterns.

Many struggles are accompanied by anxiety and depression. I help people understand more about these and learn how to manage them.

This can bring a person to a more settled place and we can then work together to look at and deal with the cause of their experience.

What you can expect.

  • An initial, free, 25 minute, half session

You can arrange a free 25 minute half session to meet me and explore if counselling could be helpful for you.  It's a chance to talk about what you would like to achieve from counselling and I can explain what I can offer to help you.

If you would like to extend this first session to a full 50 minute session, this costs £26, (about half the normal rate).

  • Regular sessions after that

If counselling is right for you, we arrange regular sessions at intervals that suit you.  This can be either weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

  • Cost

One-to-one Counselling costs £45 (reduced rate) or £53 per session (depending upon circumstances).

  • A professional, friendly, confidential service

I offer a professional yet friendly service, where I want to help you feel comfortable and heard.  Counselling is confidential, apart from rare occasions, which I will discuss with you when we meet.  Many clients have been helped by counselling and you can see some of their thoughts here
